The HEPA AP168W air purifier is a device that improves indoor air quality. The purifier removes pollutants such as dust, plant pollen, smog, microorganisms, and harmful chemicals through 7 stages of purification in rooms up to 60 m². The device is dedicated to individuals suffering from asthma, allergies, smokers, and those living in areas with high air pollution, commonly referred to as smog. It is intended for enclosed spaces such as apartments, houses, and workplaces.

How do air purifiers work?

Pre-filter - captures dust, hair, and other larger pollutants. It consists of an aluminum frame with a sponge. It does not need to be replaced, just cleaned.

HEPA H13 filter - removes particles smaller than 0.3 µm with a minimum efficiency of 99.97% (e.g., dust, mites, bacteria, viruses, fungi, etc.), and also captures suspended particulate matter PM 2.5 with 99.9% efficiency.

Activated carbon filter - its task is to remove pollutants such as formaldehydes, benzenes, xylenes, volatile aromatic hydrocarbons, and various unpleasant odors (including cigarette smoke).

Photocatalytic filter - the use of this filter enhances the bactericidal action of the UV filter. Photocatalysis accelerates chemical reactions.

Molecular sieve - captures volatile organic compounds from the air. With its help, the carbon bed regenerates, thus extending the life of the activated carbon filter.

UV filter - the task of the lamp in the UV filter is to destroy DNA and RNA structures, thereby neutralizing bacteria and viruses that were not removed by previous filters.

Negative ion generator - releases anions that participate in filtering dust from the air. Negative air ions positively affect health and are referred to as vitamins in the air.

Filter replacement and maintenance:

• HEPA filter - lifespan: 12 months (may vary - depends on the level of air pollution and usage intensity)
• Activated carbon filter, photocatalytic filter, molecular sieve - constitute a set; lifespan: 12 months (may vary - depends on the level of air pollution and usage intensity)
• Pre-filter - should be cleaned regularly, does not need to be replaced

It is worth knowing - the UV lamp and ionization function are independent of the other stages of air purification and can be turned off.
